The Northampton Paranormal Group (NPG) hit the headlines once again with a superb photograph depicting what appears to be the return of a lost soldier from The Battle Of Naseby
It may well be that NPG have found the lost soldier of Naseby !
The Northampton Paranormal Group took the photograph on a trip to a field between Clipston and Naseby on the anniversary of The Battle of Naseby last month.
And in a vote by the Chron, 80% of those who responded said they believed it did show a ghost. Since the story was published online it has been picked up by the Daily Telegraph and websites specialising in paranormal activities across the world.
Members said they heard clunking noises as well as sounds like cannonball fire but saw nothing.
However, on arriving home, the group's organiser, Emma Whiteman, said she noticed a strange image in the top corner of one of the pictures, taken with a digital camera.
She said: "The picture was taken about an hour after we heard the noises but we didn't see anything at the time.
"When we saw it, when we were looking back through the pictures, we were gobsmacked.
"We're saying that it's a soldier. Some people can see it sitting on a horse and some people just see it as a walking soldier." Emma Whiteman of the Northampton Paranormal Group says - "Firstly the picture is very clear and we could not believe it when we saw it, our best picture to date. The response has been fantastic, we have had emails from around the globe from Hong Kong to Israel and we have had a good response from the papers in Harborough, Manchester, Telegraph Online and the response from tv, Myself and Suzanne did some filming with BBC Look east which went out to millions of viewers last week." Naseby is a really nice village and I have kept in touch with the Naseby Project, there is also a poll both here and on Naseby Online where you can vote on the picture and tell us what you see, it’s doing really well." |
