The Paranormal Dramatics Society is a title we have created in order to distinguish between those individuals and groups who engage in amateur dramatics as opposed to those who undertake paranormal investigations on a professional level.

The Northampton Paranormal Group do not endorse or engage in amateur dramatics as practised by so many so called paranormal investigation groups, we are not performing seals and we do not pander to any audience, we leave this kind of activity to the drama queens, thrill seekers, TV shows and profit driven groups who mistakenly believe that running around haunted woodland at night with a camcorder while screaming, shouting, and swearing somehow constitutes a serious investigation. In reality the vast majority of paranormal investigations are at best ...eventless and mundane.
In order for us as a paranormal investigation group to maintain the reputation and credibilty we have earned we must transcend and denounce this media driven childish hysteria. The amateur dramatics of these misguided groups has no place in the world of parapsycology and if allowed to continue will serve only to devalue this fascinating subject and it's students. So our message to these amateurs ...if you can't do the job professionally, leave it to those who can !

As a result of the popularity of the hit TV show Most Haunted there are now thousands of paranormal groups all over the world that operate with widely varying levels of professionalism. What sets us apart from the main bulk of these groups is our ability to focus and report accurately on the facts surrounding our investigations. In carrying out our work as paranormal investigators we have developed a work ethic based on professionalism, integrity and respect. We are not in the business of making a financial profit from our work or from our clients, we are driven purely by a genuine deep desire to discover the undiscovered paranormal phenomena that undoubtedly pervades our world.
